1. Back up data
Phone data is very valuable. If it is lost once, it can be difficult to get it back. Therefore, make sure to backup the data before selling the phone. You can backup your contacts, call history, messages, photos, videos and files using Google Drive, iCloud or any other cloud storage service. Make sure your backup is up-to-date.
2. Log out of Google and social media accounts
Log out of all Google accounts and social media accounts from your phone. This will prevent the new owner from using your accounts. To log out of accounts, go to Settings and select the relevant option.
3. Remove the memory card and SIM card
